Everyone loves some company whether a human being or a pet the company is all that matters. Most of us know that, people can be so annoying at times and that is why you will find many people adopting pets.
A pet is an animal that is kept primarily for companionship. Pets are preferred mainly because of their playful nature, loyalty and attractive appearances. It is amazing that pets are medically approved for therapies.
Their benefits can be both physically and emotionally. For example, walking a dog will supply the dog and its owners fresh air, exercise and social interaction. Pets can also be used as companions for the elderly, who do not have a lot of social interaction with other people.
These animals are usually taken to visit children in hospitals, and the elderly in the nursing homes to aid their recovery. Some of the most popular pets include dogs, cats, lizards, turtles and rabbits.
Dogs vary both in shape, size and treatment. There are so many types of dogs that people can adopt as pets.
These may include Australian shepherd, Chihuahua and German shepherd. Today we will be looking at the German shepherd and look at some of the reasons why one should not adopt the German shepherd as a pet.
The German shepherd or Alsatian in Britain is a large sized breed of dog that originated from Germany. Their colors vary from tan/black to red/black or pure black.
They have a long muzzle, black nose and brown medium sized eyes. The German shepherd is known to be a working dog, and in ancient times it was used in herding sheep.
In modern times, the German shepherd is used in search and rescue operations, military operations, assisting the disabled for example the blind and even acting.
These breed of dogs is mainly preferred because of its train-ability, strength, intelligence and obedience.
Apart from the overwhelming positive sides of the German Shepherd here are some of the reasons why you should never adopt a German shepherd. These reasons should be taken seriously. Very Seriously.
- German Shepherds are malicious creatures
From the moment the German Shepherd is born, it is a very vicious creature full of malice and it can harm both the owner and it caretakers.
2. Puppies are dangerous
Despite being small, the German Shepherd can be so dangerous. When it comes to this breed of dog, the saying that size doesn’t matter really comes to life. Even the smallest German shepherd, is capable of harming an adult human being.
3. Other animals can’t stand the German shepherd
May it be a cat or any other type of pet none can really associate with the German shepherd they will always be at each other’s neck.
4. Other dogs can’t stand them
Just like all other animals, other breeds of dogs cannot really stand the German shepherd.
5. They can’t be trusted around children
Unlike cats and other breeds of dogs like the Chihuahua that are known to be associate very well with children this breed of dog doesn’t.
This may be due to the fact that, this type of dog usually requires some training, or may be it is because it is usually associated with animals this reason is yet to be confirmed.
6. The tend to be impatient and uncooperative
This breed of dog is mostly used in rescue operations, and it may be used to leading and not following thus it tends to be very uncooperative and impatient.
It will always be the leader not the follower.
7. They don’t like to relax
This breed of dog of dog is very uneasy and doesn’t like to relax. This leaves the owner with no downtime.
8. They are very unadventurous
This may be due to the fact that, they do not know how to relax, and in return they can’t travel well. This leads to tiredness which in turn affects their capacity to be adventurous.
9. They like ruining things
You may go out only to comeback to a messy house thanks to the German shepherd. They will tear apart your pillows, clothes, shoes and even kitchen items.
10. They are hideous in appearance
The very appearance of the German shepherd is enough to scare the hell out of you.
11. They can’t be your cuddle buddy
This is due to their very uneasy nature.
12. Their facial expression is always menacing
Every single expression you get from this dog is going to scare you.
13. They are evil
This is so evident if you sum up all the above reasons.
14. They become more terrifying with age
The older the German shepherd gets, the more awful and terrifying they get.
15. The more they are, the eviler they are
This means that, no one should ever get more than one.
