According to the information from an organization called ‘Together We Rise,’ over 1,200 kids get into the foster care daily in the United States. The life at the foster care is unpredictable and full of sigma. To fight against this, TWR normally brings together people who volunteer to assist these kids in the foster care as well as encouraging families to adopt them. About two years ago, they devised a plan to attract as many people as possible to embrace the adoption. They planned to post as many photos of the adopted kids as possible on Facebook and Instagram. They did exactly that, and the return was remarkable.
“Thousands of people have attempted to reach us. They came forward to declare that they wanted to be foster parents boldly. Some said that they thought so after taking a look at the cute photos of the adopted kids that were posted,” TWR informed the Bored Panda. “Each day, we have new people reaching out to us. Their main agenda is to lend the helping hand in adopting the children or just provide any assistance so that the kids still in the foster care can have better lives.”
“We have been impressed with the number of professional photographers who have come out voluntarily to offer their selfless services to families who have adopted and those who are still in the process of adopting the kids. With the inspiring inquiries that we had posted on the social media inviting an interested party to apply, we received over 5000 applications from the professional photographers sending their applications. It warmed our heart just how much people care about the new lives that are facing the challenges at the foster care.”
You can have a peek at the photos below. They are amazing to see just how the kids fit in their adoptive families.
