Losing things is part of being human, but there are certain things that you never, ever want to part with.
A diamond engagement ring is at the top of the list of things you should try to never misplace. However, that doesn’t stop people from losing these prized possessions from time to time.
Of course, the monetary value of a diamond ring makes misplacement difficult. Often, it’s the sentimental value that is the toughest to part with.
If enough time passes, it’s easy to lose hope that your missing ring will ever resurface.
According to CBC News, a Canadian woman named Mary Grams thought she’d never find her diamond engagement ring after losing it on her farm in 2004.
As it turns out, 13 years is more than enough to give up the search altogether.
But when Mary’s daughter-in-law was harvesting carrots on August 15, 2017, she made an incredible discovery, much to the delight of her mother-in-law!
